I am Madalina Sora, a makeup artist in Bucharest, and I believe the best day makeup is the one that shows the least: lightweight textures, neutral shades and natural finishes, chosen for your skin and your features.
Natural makeup for the office and meetings
For professional settings I build a clean, polished look that lasts from morning to evening without ever being loud: even but natural-looking skin, disciplined brows, a touch of color on the cheeks and lips defined in shades close to their natural one. It is the right makeup for interviews, presentations, office photos or client meetings.
If your day is packed with meetings or includes a filmed presentation, I adapt the formulas: a finish that does not shine under cold office lighting and shades that stay true on your laptop camera during video calls.
Skincare first: prepping the skin before makeup
Every successful day makeup starts with skin prep: gentle cleansing, hydration matched to your skin type and a primer that keeps everything in place. With the right products, day makeup lasts 8-10 hours, and at the end I also show you how to touch it up quickly, in two minutes, wherever you are.
No-makeup makeup and other light styles
Light does not mean one single style. Together we can choose:
- No-makeup makeup: your skin, only more luminous; nobody sees the makeup, everybody sees the difference.
- Luminous finish: glowing skin, fresh cheeks and glossy lips, for days when you want maximum freshness.
- Defined natural: the same discreet palette, but with softly contoured eyes and accentuated lashes, ideal when the day stretches into an evening out.
